The CUBE is the hub for social innovation at UNC-Chapel Hill. 

The CUBE is a “space” for UNC social innovators to put their ideas for solving the world’s greatest problems into practice. It is a space outside classroom walls designated for experiential learning to test innovative ideas that can address social issues.

The CUBE serves as a pipeline for social entrepreneurs, providing 24/7 access to a co-working space equipped with technology, equipment, furniture, and a kitchenette. 

But the CUBE is more than a physical space. It is also a nexus point where social innovators at UNC can meet, interact with other social innovators, and learn from peers, all of whom are driven to create lasting positive social change.

And the CUBE is more than a community. It is where you can get the know-how and put it into practice. It is where social innovators at UNC from across all disciplines can test their innovative ideas outside of the classroom and learn experientially.

At the CUBE, UNC Social Innovators can access seed capital, mentoring, pro-bono services, expert feedback, and workshops from everything from legal liability to effective marketing to entrepreneurial finance, and just about anything else a social entrepreneur would need to know.
